06 new accord v6 problem (automatic)

When i drive it every morning, i can hear a click sound when the speed hits 20-25km/h. And I can feel something strange with the gas pedal. is it a transmission problem? shifting gear from 1 to 2?

after the clicking sound, everything is okay afterwards. any input?

Thats probably the cold morning starts, The clicks you hear can be your exhaust, your coils and struts in cold.

Is there the sound in later of the day?

Also your pedal feels diff because its cold starts, engine take few mins to the operating temp.

On the TSX, there is a click noise around that speed on a cold start. It's the ABS system testing itself. Not sure if it's the same on the accord but since they are basically the same car...it could just be.

They wanted me to leave my car overnight. Maybe i will leave my car when the first oil change is due.

When the car is hot, most of time i am on the road, it's noisy. Maybe it clicks too. I am not too sure. BUt every morning, when i drive out of my neighbourhood, it's so quite.

Hopefully, it's not the tranny problem.

What? thats your solution to an unknown problem? Wow you have wasted alot of money my friend.

The click sounds is not like a knocking sounds. Beside with new cars like these especially an import, ECU technology has gone up so well that it will just ****** your ignition to protect the engine. Ofcourse that means you will loose the performance.

Now every cars will seem sluggish from cold starts so thats probably why you feel the pedal abit weird.

After everything has warmed up, you will reach the optimum performance of the car. Everything will seem smoother.

Feedback through the gas peddle is impossible... and the reason I say this is that the accord is a 'drive by wire' car... therefore there is no feedback because its simply a 'input' device ...

Second... is the AC on? could it be the compressor coming on? ...

Third.. do not listen to the guy that says use higher octane, as it is not required and will not do anything for your car....

I have a 2006 and do not experience any of these 'clicking' sounds tho... but I do hear the sound of the ac engaging.

Try letting it idle for 5-6 minutes before you drive it away. See if it makes a diff. Take it into the dealer to get it checked. It's stupid to wait until oil change as you might have a serious problem. Which dealer are you using?

1.the feedback i was talking about it is like you feel the "resistance" from the gas pedal.

2. when i bought my first car, the salesman told me to turn on the a/c only after i drive it for 1 or 2 minutes. He said it's good for engine. So the a/c is always off when i drive the cold car. We have a high performance div. downstairs, the guy there is also suspecting the a/c pump causes the sound.

3.i know it's not a knocking sound, so higher octane won't help.

4. the guy at the dealer's service dept. suspected it had something to do with the abs.

and once it sounds off, you have to wait for a long time like over night to hear it again. And the mechanic may ignore the sound if it's too noisy outside.

that's why i hesitate to bring my car there.
