Mazda6...
The Accord is so big now that it's a "full size" sedan.

It's just personal preference. Full size cars are not consistent with what I need. In my situation, a compact hatchback is probably more appropriate.

I'd say the Toyota Camry, if not the Mazda 6

ummm... right..
Anyway I honestly am not sure which I would pick BUT one point, is that the Mazda is a fresh and new design. And I seem to see the Accords everywhere now.

True enough, and I based my recommendation as closely as I could on the detailed info the op provided about his situation...

Permanently Banned

I had a look at the Mazda 6 in person. From the commercials, my first impression was that this car is really ugly. When I went to the dealership and had a close look, I realized that this car is BUTT UGLY!!! And the interior sucked too and that was the "Premium" model, the leather didn't feel like leather and the fake wood was just horrible.
I haven't been inside the accord, but would pick it over the new 6.

Test drive both and see what you like. You can look at the cars on paper all you want, but sitting in it and taking a drive could change your mind instantly.
