That's what I thought when I read this, just bring a bag to to the self-serve machine

the only limit is your conscience and the goodwill of staff/patrons. If I saw somebody filling up their icebags at a self-serve pop machine you best believe I'd make a fuss about it...

Pretty sure Cas77 meant it is a joke :)

I can confirm this $1 deal in effect at Burger King Front St E location in Toronto though, they have signs for it at register.

If you buy prescription medicines that need to be refrigerated, they will give you an ice pack if you ask. Costco has the best ice packs.

Wouldn't kind of look weird that you're taking a bag to the selfserve ice in the middle of the fountain drinks at Costco? Is that what you guys are referring to?

What does traveling abroad have to do with this deal? This is Burger King Canada we are talking about.

I was just about to post the same thing. I also worked there when I was much younger.

It's free, but oh how we hated doing this for people. Just spend the $3 and buy the bag at a gas station, jeez.
