+1 for Dell Monitor Warranty
Placed a call to RMA my 2709W monitor, 2 days later received a U2711. Comes with pick up shipping label for Purolator.
only thing i can complain is to buy Dual Link DVI cable!

Had almost 3 year old 23" S23 something or another replaced with U2711 during winter time! Same complain as you, had to buy a dual-link dvi in the middle of winter storm.
