Are you sure you don't need PC5400 for the Inspiron 530?

1 GB PC4200 ram for $ 9.97 @ tigerdirect.ca
A couple of these should fit in my to be picked up Inspiron 530 @ $ 309.....i will be having 3 GB in total ..nice..!!

I'm not a big fan of the rebates in general, and TG rebates seem to have a whole lot of negative press. For something like this I'd say its $20 with a chance to win $10 later.

Plan to wait for 6 months.
Last time I sent in rebate for similar ram. It took 6 months, not 6 weeks. The good thing was that it came, unlike the Canadian Tire ones which never showed at all.

That is not necessarily a manufacturer's rebate address. It is most likely just a intermediate company that handles the rebates for either the store or the manufacturer. The top two lines are just to make sure the envelopes are sorted well.
I can send a letter to your home address with any name on the top. The name doesn't really factor into routing for the post office. Reply With Quote

Even if you don't get the rebate, $20 for 1GB of DDR2 PC4200 is not cold, it is normal price. So the rebate is like a bonus.
