How come its always wobbling? Is that the jello effect? I thought that the jello effects only shows when you are panning your camera in a rapid manner.

The T1i sets the aperture automatically, there's no manual setting for it.

The jello effect can be seen in the OP's video. The buildings look like they are bending as the shot is panned.
Can't say for sure since I haven't seen what it looks like without the iMovie IS, but i think i'd rather see camera shake than the wobbly effect, it feels like im watching the video drunksfu_engineer wrote:I am pretty sure it's the fake IS feature of iMovie 09.

Nice video - I recorded about 30 minutes worth from my Niagara Falls trip and editing/splicing it thus far is a pain in the butt. It's not like photos where we get to see the results right away.. That has got to be one of the better sweet 16 birthday parties I've been to or seen. Most of the time parents aren't even there, your friend's got really great parents!

I just checked out the Poor Man's Handicam but it looks like it requires to hands to use one. What I'd like is one of those shoulder/chest mounted ones instead so I can use my hands to adjust settings and focus.kay188 wrote: ↑I loved the daughter and father dancing part on your video Spencer.
It looked pretty professional!
I really gotta get myself a 5D2, or a 7D... I want to be able to create pro looking videos, with the DoF and everything.
Yeah, it's WongFu like isn't it Matt?
You should build yourself a DIY steadicam Spencer!
Costs like $14. Instructions on google.
