1150 Or 1155?

Now that the new LGA1150 processors are out I was wondering if it would be worth taking my newly built computer apart and upgrading to the latest gen.

Currently own a

3570k - 202.99
Asus Maximus V 269.99

purchased from Bestbuy in the last 30 days. A 4670k is only 40$ more, but its the cost of the motherboard which is deterring me from switching. The maximus VI costs around 469.99 and on the lower end the Deluxe is 289.99

What do you guys think? Haswell worth the extra 250$ ?

The gains from Ivy Bridge to Haswell won't be incredibly noticeable. I think they're quoted to be about 7% to 10% in gains, which, unless you're doing some heavy computing, the average person won't see the difference.

If I were in your position, I would probably be debating between a 3570k or 3770k. Then again, at $202, the 3570k performs wonderfully. I would probably take that difference and put it towards a nice SSD or video card.
