A friend of mine visited the Walmart in Brantford and picked up a great deal on 12-pack of water bottles (500ml each bottle). The 12pack is going for $1.
The water is some brand I've never heard of from Canada (not Nestle or Dasani, etc.), but water is water, right?
Either way, people were supposedly loading tons of boxes since there was no limit.
Check to see if your local Walmart is giving the same promo.

I have to side with the hippies on this one. Buying bottled water like this is a bad idea. Only time I will buy it now is maybe on a trip, a single bottle at a gas station.
My question though, is it pretty enviro friendly to use the water filling stations at the super market? I am assuming these are not trasported but rather filtered tap water on site.

I always keep a case of water bottles in my car. Tap water does not help when you are outside somewhere. Otherwise, I dont see why one would have to buy 10 cases of bottled water.

Yes. I'd also try to plan for the day and bring a thermos of brita water or something.
In addition to the environmental nightmare of the bottles, every bottle of water you buy is encouragement for our leaders to go ahead and let the water supply go to crap.
You are already paying for municipal water treatment! Insist on getting what you pay for!
