just make sure you have a spare battery that is fully charged available all the time - a lot of deck screws will drain your battery pretty quickly.

i just recently purchased a set of drill and impact driver from Home Depot, Dewalt 20V MAX brushless series, I think they're more like 18V, 20V is just marketing. I also have a cheap mastercraft 12V drill, it does the job but it's slow and not powerful enough for some heavy duty long and big screws. But for general home use, the 12V mastercraft was plenty
