I won't enter into a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent, or a war of words with someone who can't spell. Lets agree to disagree.
LOL. He/She is not a true redflagger either. Clueless about previous FFE deal...

There's folks trying to sell their model 3 reservation with no success... you think your FFE can be sold for a profit?

Yes. But I wouldn't sell. Its a decent ev and was a hell of a deal. You can't buy one in Ontario now, even for msrp.

You don’t think the cancelation has any impact on resale? Depreciation still will occur but don’t you think it plays in?

The MRSP of all Ev cars will have to drop. There is just no way people will pay 50k for a Chevy to try to save on gas.
I am doing 50 000 km a year commute and it would take me 5 years to break even with the incentive providing car still runs after 5 years 250000 km.
I just put 1k on Kona on Monday and will be cancelling it tomorrow.
I will buy Mazda 3 with unlimited km warranty and dump it after 5 years.

RIP. All for 10 cents a litre at the pump, lol. Such a shame, really - was so excited for the eGolf.

Emailed my dealer sales rep to return my deposit.

Was yours scheduled to arrive in the sep batch? Mine was, but will apparently arrive in Aug (I asked my dealer before the cancellation occurred, so that wouldn't have played into their response)

Doubtful that MSRP will drop. Most likely scenario is that they simply don’t sell any in Ontario and manufacturers will just reallocate inventory into other jurisdictions where incentives will support sales.

How would they drop MSRP if other provinces still have rebates? I can't see it happening. Just means that that EV and PHEV sales in Ontario will drop dramatically.

definitely! I paid only $18420 all-in for my 2017 FFE. can probably sell it for $21000 now.
