16:9 vs 16:10
The standard right now seems to be either
1920x1080
or
1680x1050
Are most games now compatible with 1080p?
ie- TF2, Warcraft III, Assassins Creed, L4D.
I'll be using the monitors exclusively for my computer since I have no bluray player, ps3, xbox360, etc. and I plan on having dual monitors.
Which one would be better?

Most useful : 24" 1920x1200 (16:10), can be had for $250+
Budget/best bang for buck :
1. 22" 1680x1050 (16:10) for ~$175
2. 23" 1920x1080 (16:9) for ~$200
To me, these are the minimum size for that kind of resolution, anything smaller = squinting and hard to see because of small pixel pitch. Actually, the 23" 1920x1080 is borderline as it is

Are there any good quality 22" monitors for < $200?
From what ppl4golf said, I think I'm leaning towards 1680 x 1050 since that's what I have now, and the text, I admit, is barely big enough for comfortable reading.

Yeah... =/
If I get a 1080 one, I'm looking at the E2200 BenQ, but I'm not sure about which 1650x1050.

I can't stand 16:9 it's like your world gets squeezed down. 16:10 isn't that great either but what choice do we have.
Moving from 1920x1200 -> 1920x1080, 120 vertical pixels are lost or a 10% loss of surface area.

Make very sure you have a powerful video card. rendering at 1900 could mean you need a SLI or equiv setup to run games at a decent speed, compared to 1600 resolution.

Ok, I've basically decided on the 1650x1050.
LG W2242P-BS

Is that any good? I can't find a single decent review out there.
