19 year old overseas chinese student charged with abducting 12 yr old boy!
I saw this on the news yesterday and they mentioned that other schools in the area were affected. Does anyone else know the names of the other schools? Was talking with my sister last night and her son did not bring a notice home from school.
They really need to enforce more restrictions on the people coming into Canada.

Peel police have arrested a 19-year-old man in Mississauga after a 12-year-old boy told his mother he was abducted.
Officers allege the suspect held the boy in the basement of a home on Tillsdown Drive, near Creditview and Britannia roads, for a short period of time.
Police believe a second boy was also abducted, and that he also tried taking three other boys.
"They [boys] were walking in the area and that’s how they were approached. It was completely random," Peel Const. Fiona Thivierge told CityNews.
Xiang “Jay” Gao, 19, an overseas Chinese student, faces six charges, inducing abduction of a person under 14, uttering threats, forcible confinement and assault.
Gao was arrested Tuesday and was expected to appear in a Brampton court for a bail hearing Wednesday.
Police believe there may be more victims.
Nearby St. Gregory Catholic Elementary School has sent out letters to parents, warning them of a potential predator allegedly trying to lure children.
How would they have identified his proclivities towards snatching kids? Until he grabbed this boy, he likely seemed like every other international student. Do they do full psychological workups at the border now?

12yrs Old, "I swear when I sold you the xBox it had all the parts in it."
*Smack*
19yrs Old, "Come with me" ... "Wait here until I get the xBox."
12yrs Old, "MOM!"

Maybe he has a history of it back in his home country? If he did this in China, he would be crucified. But in Canada, he will be given a slap on the wrists thanks to all the "special interest" groups that will cry racism if anything more than a slap on the wrists is done.

I doubt it as there were several other reported victims. Thats why I am trying to figure out the names of the other schools that were targeted by this sick person.

Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. I think that'd raise a red flag at the border if he had this kind of record though.
The second part of your post is wrong. Not one special interest group defended Min Chen, for example. Here in Canada we generally don't take too kindly to child predators.

I'd love to see the OP's reaction if this was an overseas European student.

Yeah they say it was completely random, but they also say they think there were upto 3 others. How do they know that?
In any event, 19 years old is a little too old to be beating on little kids, seems to be past the point of being a bully, and in the realm of being messed up enough to get a really nice slap on the wrist. Like community service or a couple days in jail, that sort of thing. Don't know if anything was actually done where the person crossed the line into real criminal activity. I am not a judge. They just seem a little unstable to me, not so much a criminal.

Then how do you explain the Tamil Youth Alliance taking the side of the tamil person who intentionally caused that accident on the 401 and then calling anyone who didnt agree with their side a racist.
