Your opportunity to buy a modded car without wasting money and significantly reducing your headaches.
Ideal car to get into lapping or just scooting around.
1990 Mazda Miata, Mariner Blue w/charcoal interior. No A/C, no power options other than power steering. Approx 220,000kms.
Car is powered by the factory 1.6L DOHC motor (TB & WP done @ 200kms) with a Sebring (Jackson Racing) M45 Supercharger with approx 6psi of boost. The car uses an MSD ignition box (specific to Miata’s http://www.gomiata.com/mimsdbotiunb.html) which ******* timing under boost for safer operation. The transmission is smooth and shifts well, the clutch grabs nicely, and the (open) rear end has no weird sounds or feelings.
The car also wears a double-diagonal design CSC roll bar, red 16x7 OZ Superleggera wheels w/ Kumho XS tires and Eibach springs on KYB struts. It also has a CD/MP3 Alpine head unit.
Aesthetically the car has a KG Works rear spoiler, Garage Vary style front lip and yellow front markers.
In interest of full disclosure the overall condition of the car is average. There are some door dings and light scratches from general use, the driver’s side rockers has some rust, however if you’ve been shopping for NA’s you will have seen worse. The top is a new NB version with a glass rear window. This Miata isn’t a show car, however it also isn't priced like one. It's a good, clean, presentable car.
This is a definitive “cheap thrills” Miata, it can easily be taken to the next level with additional mods, or be enjoyed as it sits. It is currently stored in a heated garage at my house and can be viewed any time.
The car is sold with a valid e-test, safety can be negotiated – The tires would be the only question mark.
Price dropped to $4900
