I'm not certain what you mean by "changes to employment", but if it is a change of position within your present company, you may be able to ask your employer to cover the cost of breaking your lease as part of the terms for your new position.

Actually, it is just an change in my overall financial situation. I realized that I cannot really afford this place anymore along with some other personal stuff going on, so I need to move out.
