Of course there is, in the character menu, and there is no functional difference between an open/used toy and a sealed one, other than to collectors and speculators.

I'm so pissed off... I went to TRU after work on my way home last night hoping to get a Legendary 3-pack since supposedly most stores were full of them. When I got to the one near my house, the walls were bare. I asked the kid working the section if they had received any and he said yes but they were all gone already. I was happy enough to just leave and shake my head at my luck, but then the kid says "Yeah, some guy came in and bought 16 of them". WTF?! I get that hoarders and resellers are going to do this, but why does TRU let people buy so many? C'mon already, let's impose a resonable limit on identical purchases and give other people a chance to get them.
Sorry for ranting. Some of us have jobs and cannot spend our days trolling the stores.

Which TRU was this? I was thinking of going to Markville today to pick one up, but I don't have much hope. Whoever this douche is that bought 16, is likely going to every TRU in the GTA and scooping them up. It only takes one hoarder to ruin it for everyone.

I'm so surprised at the hoarding that still happens... no wonder i can never find any adventure packs.
EB is absolutely useless due to their sporadic shipping, was hoping to bank on Walmart and TRU since i assumed they get bigger shipments...

Damn...I've asked some reps at different stores and they all said that they haven't seen Cynder yet. Was it a TRU or EB that got the three?

Amazon.com has 5-6 singles available at normal retail (7.99US). Ordered eruptor, dino rang and boomer shipped to an Amerifreind. Shipping for 3 is 16-17 bucks to Canada so I passed on that. Instead grabbed an extra Eruptor for free shipping and trade bait.
They also have Zap, Hex and Wrecking Ball.

It's been over a month since the Christmas rush and I still don't understand why Activision has been dragging their feet with this. If they would just flood the market then this wouldn't be an issue. Also, the fact that they are only selling through a handful of retailers (one of whom is the only one that gets large bulk shipments) doesn't help either. TRU and Gamestop/EB are the only retailers who seem to get shipments on a weekly basis. FS, BB and Walmart seem to get a shipment in every 2 weeks - that's just not enough to satisfy demand. Why not sell through other stores like The Source, Amazon.ca and Chapters Indigo? Heck, why can't they just sell direct themselves as well??

If they flood the market then it will end the hype , Marketing ...........make something harder to get the more people want it

There were tons of the legendary 3/pks @ cedarbrae @ 2:00pm yesterday, grabbed 1..Now my kids say to me it's a rip off because, the in game characters are exactly the same as the regular ones.. So if anyone wants it drop me a pm..
To those that feel they gotta buy duplicate figures for multiple kids, in the same house. Common! I can say that my boys are learning a valuable lesson in sharing... Besides why would anyone want to have to level up multiple same characters? It would Only add to our backlog of games...

I guess...but there's a fine line between parents just giving up altogether vs continuing to try and snag figures and adventure packs.
I've already talked to a few parents who have said that they are not gonna bother with the sequel because of the experience so far.
