Posted out of frustration at the unnecassery loss of life...

Three dead in Milton

17 year old dead in Toronto

There is no safety argument against wearing your seatbelt that will stand up to scrutiny. Anyone thinking there is should do some research. They'll quickly find out their opinions are without any basis in fact.

!! ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEATBELT !!

I learned at a young age that you're not really brave or cool when you drive around, city or highway, without a seatbelt.

No mention of that in the article. Pretty sure you're thinking about another accident a week or so ago.

*edit* This one from June 2nd.

7 people. 5 were thrown out of the van. 2 remained in the van and they were the only ones wore the seat belt.

If you ask a police officer investigating accidents, seatbelts do save lives in the majority of accidents.

There are a few situations where wearing the seatbelt can contribute to someones death though.
