1. i THINK you can retract a bid if it's not less than 24 hours in the auction left

it's simple just follow the step by step guide
just remember, the higher your starting price, or if you have a reserve price, it will cost you more to post the auction, this is why you see alot of people start at 99cents or No Reserve

Shipping Rates: it totally depends on you, go to your local post office and ask them how much the shipping is for an item, shipping rates vary by size and weight, and don't forget about packaging
some sellers jack the shipping price up to make themselves more money...that's up to you if you want to do that
