Context Clothing has been doing discounts for at least a couple of years. The most they do is remove them under their Authorized Sellers.

Even the Small (I have one) fits like a Large for me. I am 5'9" 155lbs 38" chest

I did the calculations on a small sample of the 2011-2012 prices versus the 2012-2013 prices and they worked out to be much less than that, in the high single digits, not the dreaded 18% that the "RFD jacket experts" in the Fashion & Apparel subforum were predicting and proliferating.
Example calculation:
2011-2012 Chilliwack retail price: $545
2012-2013 Chilliwack retail price: $595
9% price hike calculated. A huge relief when you consider it's not 18% as we originally feared.

Thanks OP and sc00ter77, I bought the small Chilliwack Bomber PBI edition. OP's coupon didn't work for me but sc00ter77's did. I haven’t heard of Simons before so I made sure they were an authorized retailer (and they are). Grand total came to $566.07 for Ontario. In my opinion, $500 before tax is the max I’ll pay because I don’t believe they are worth more than that.

I think I got the last Chateau in M. After I tried a medium Chateau at Harry Rosen tonight, I realized I should've gone with a large instead. One-size-down rule doesn't work on me. Was there any large Chateau available when this post was up?
ps: I wear a medium mcmurdo parka.

"One size down" rule doesn't apply to Canada Goose jackets classified under the "slim insulated" fit, which comprises the Chateau.
It works for "regular insulated" jackets like the Chilliwack and Constable.
I find I have to go two sizes down or more for "relaxed insulated" jackets like the Expedition.

Is the fit for the mountaineering jacket the slim insulated or regular insulated? Thanks.

Mountaineer is considered "slim insulated" according to the Mountaineer page: http://www.canada-goose.com/products...taineer-jacket
As I recall, it's true. I wear a small in the other "slim insulated" gear, like the Manitoba, Chateau, and Banff. I picked up a small Mountaineer at Le Baron, tried it on, and it fit as expected.
Disclaimer: I do not own a Chateau, Banff, or Mountaineer.

True. I also tried on a medium Expedition. It definitely fits larger but it is kind of overkill. I'll make a call tomorrow to see if I can get a large Chateau for my order.
