Have the same email too. Decent deal that's offered a few times a year...not a Black Friday special. Might be better to use a good % back credit card (scotia amex @4% return or other Amex cards etc.) at Petro directly to get the same fuel card plus the higher cc return.

I'll still buy though.

friendly reminder: Ebates does not give cash back on Gift Cards Category in Ebay.

As per previous posts, the return is very marginal now compared to before.

Still, thanks OP

what is the 'additional $15 of fuel savings' for registering the card mean? do they give you more litres towards the $0.05 off?

It must be that you are getting additional 300 liter of fuel discount, for a total of 300*$0.05 = $15 discount.

The additional $15 is a top-up on your Preferred Price card after you register the card in your online account of Petro-Canada?

That's how it worked the most recent time it was offered. Registering the Preferred Price card in my online account of Petro-Canada increased the balance from 300 L to 600 L.

But everyone including myself actually recieved 5 cents/L cards.

With the RBC discount stacking with the fuel savings I am only picking this up for the fuel saving card basically.

Thanks OP.

look at it this way. you're getting 30$ on a 195$ investment on something that you use everyday. That's 15 percent. You just covered tax and 2% off the additional federal/provincial tax on gas. What's not a good deal? where else you getting 15% on your money?
