These deals get worse and worse. Last time it was $190 + preferred card.
It was $195 last time too. It used to be 190, and 180 before that.

I'm in for one, it's worth it because with Petropoints and the card it's like 6 cents off, basically gives you Costco price at petrocan. My CC gives 2% at the pump and 1% on eBay, it's a couple dollars cheaper to get the cards still disregarding the discount card.

Yes, and I believe all the deals stack. So you swipe savings card, then petro points, then use an RBC credit card (that you linked), and they all give you a discount. Means Petro Canada is the only place I buy gas now!

I guess it's better than nothing, but buying Canadian Tire GC's when they're 10% off is a better deal by quite a bit. By using CT Money card you get 4c/l off right away, which is almost the same as this -5c/l card but then you get 10% off cash value when you buy it instead of only 2.5% off with this deal.

Agreed. The only downfall is that CT gas is not as plentiful as Petro.

Using the average cost of $1.20 per liter these days.

-CT at 10% off, it's $1.08 per litre + get CT money
-Petro at 2.5% off and -5 cents per litre, it's about $1.12 per litre + Petro points

Any deal where you save on gas is good in my opinion. We all need it and it never goes on sale.

Ebay.ca has the deal again:

$200 in Petro Canada GC's for $195 + Fuel Savings card ($30) value.

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/200-in-Petro-Can ... Swa81aFZLu

The $15 Preferred Price card is valid for 5 cents per litre savings on 300L of fuel. Receive an additional $15 value (extra 300L) when you register your card. Use it on all grades of fuel, even diesel, at over 1,500 participating Petro-Canada retail stations. Card balance is adjusted automatically and the receipt will show exactly how much the cardholder has saved and the savings balance remaining.

Just registered my new preferred price card using the link they provided . However it only shows 300 litres when I check the balance... is it not supposed to show 600L to arrive at the $30 at 5 cents? Did I do this wrong??
