Too bad I just got rid of mine a week ago. This beauty could have been yours.

Didn't you just spend a good amount of money on maintenance ? That sucks though. Kijiji is probably your best bet.

When given enough time, all threads on RFD can and will go off on a tangent.

If driveable, charge admission to viewing of Lake-sus Volume 2. Profit will ensue. I'd pay you $10 for that.

My mechanic said $3500 just barely gets it driving...

Thats after i provide my own hood & bumper (unpainted). ($240 + $270 for the hood and bumper unpainted primed black)...
So rhats about $4000 to get it up to ghetto looking barely running order.
Repairs are one thing... if the engine or transmission fell out i would fix... but this damage would be too much.

Newer 01-05 is300's are under $4k now in good shape.

The hood smushed up against the engine and damaged the timing belt and the alternator sounds funny.

He'd need an escape mechanism to survive the cold waters of lake Ontario and a robust plan of action to cop sea class. From what I gather he's not a fuerdai/child of a yuan percenter
