I will pick Honda Accord. Why?
- I am honda biased - big fan of their cars, just all the little things seems better on honda, e.g, the key turning is v.exact

- More reliable
- More HP
- Better reslae
- more equipment to add on to customize

If you are getting an Automatic, Nissan easily wins this IMO

CVT with Triptronic with better Torque Spec & 6-Speed.

Other little neat features include:

• Intelligent Key
• Push Start

^ This and that I owned a '02 Acura RSX Premium is the reason why I passed on the '08 Honda Accord Coupe, wanted something different. I have the '08 3.5 SE Coupe my sister has the 2.5 S Coupe.

Honda for me hands down.

For looks, and the brand is way higher than Nissan. Nissan cars are also cheaper (at least 3 yrs ago when I was shopping for Altima or Accord, I picked Accord).

Given they're both 1st year model, from a technical standpoint, I'd choose the Accord coupe because it's a Honda.

But from a cosmetic stand point, I'd choose the Altima. The Altima couple feels more like true coupe than the Accord just because the Accord is such a huge boat. However, I really dislike the blind spot on the Altima.

If you're getting auto, I'd take Altima's CVT, so you can get power when needed. If you're getting manual, Honda manual tranny is always a joy.

I would personally get the Accord Coupe, because of Honda's reliability, resale value and well-thought out package.

It's kind of preliminary to judge these cars on their reliability and resale, but I'm just basing my opinion on past indicators.

Looks are subjective, but IMHO, the Altima Coupe will always be the "poor man's G35 coupe".

I know the looks on the Accord are kind of polarizing, but it stands alone as its own car. Acura doesn't even offer a coupe anymore.

Reliability/Quality is important but at the end you have to ENJOY it.

Both are solid cars.
