2008 Chrysler 300 Touring - Circle of Friends price $ 22,992 - Good deal?
Hi folks,
Through my employee discount plan at work, I could obtain a brand new what is called a 'well equipped' 2008 Chrysler 300 Touring (MSRP of 33,295) for 22,992.
I am not interested in buying the 300 per se, but I wanted to know if we are getting any value from this employee discount. The breakdown is as follows:
MSRP Well Equipped: $33,295
$1,903Preferred Customer Price Program:
$7,000Customer Discounts/Rebates:
$8,903Total Discounts:
$22,992
So I'd like to hear thoughts on whether this is a good deal, and the type of price that would be paid without this deal. I imagine the 7,000 of customer discounts would apply to all customers?

>$10k off the MSRP in Canada and I'd have to say yeah that's a good deal. Would be even better if you got a similar deal on a 300C though

I am not a big fan of new cars - just check Trader.ca and see that there is a decent amount of 2008 300C with reasonable mileage for 24k-26k and this is before negotiations. You can save another 10k just going used - you will still have a fair amount of warranty for peace of mind.

Is this Cash purchase price or can it be financed? And if so,at what rate?

2008 Chrysler 300 Touring
MSRP Well Equipped:$31,845
Employee Price Discount:$2,628
Consumer Discounts/Rebates:$6,500
EP Bonus Cash:$0
ERBONUS:$2,600
Total Discounts:$11,728
YOUR EMPLOYEE PRICE:$20,167
You wouldn't be able to get the ERBONUS, so you're looking at paying about the same as employee pricing.. keep in mind most chrysler cars sell for nothing near MSRP , as everything big is heavily discounted. most non-entry vehicles go for a bit over half MSRP with employee discount.

May I ask where I could find this comparison information? Is it at the chrysler site?

No test drive...was really just checking if Iwould be getting a better deal under my corporate plan.
I also have a GM plan where we can get new vehicles at a cost of the dealer's cost + 4%. Would anyone like to comment as to whether that is a good deal? I also have a TD GM Visa, so i suppose I could make use of earnings...

what can you get at gm thats comparable to the 300 at gm? The only car that comes to mind is the impala and g8. I dont know if you can get an Impala for $23000 plus there so boring to look at and i dont think your going to get into any g8 for less than 30 thousand. You should also keep in mind that the 300 is very heavy car and will burn alot of gas so in the long run it might not be to cheap depending on how much you drive.

Where are you getting the price quoted from? I'd be interested in picking one up at that price. Cash price or financed price?
