2009 Toyota Corolla from the US???
I was wondering if anyone was able to bring a brand new 2009 Toyota corolla from the US. I am looking at 2009 LE which cheaper than the canadian CE (specifically now that you can get in the US close to invoice)
any info would help
Thanks

Question is ... Can you even get it in the US?
I know Toyota banned their US dealerships from selling vehicles to Canadian buyers back when dollar first hit the parity .... The other problem becomes the warranty ...

Permanently Banned

My neighbour said you can ask a friend or a family member to buy it and use it for a couple weeks to put on some kms/miles then sell it as a used car if dealerships are banned from selling to canadians

This will only really work in a state where there's no sales tax. Otherwise, you'll be paying extra money.

I just thought of something if you have time. Call or go to those private car dealership and ask them if they can buy a car for you from the dealership for you and then resell it to you as a used car.
I don't think that would work also .... but i am just suggesting

As others mentioned, there are ways to get around the dealerships not selling to Canadians. As far as the Toyota warranty, it's completely valid in Canada (we have an imported Sienna and I recently had repairs done on warranty).
