Visions has a $388 40" Toshiba, valid until the 24th: The flyer says it is a LED TV, but the product page says it is a LCD TV. Anyways, I think it's worth a look: http://www.visions.ca/catalogue/cate...44&sku=40E220U

I really need a new TV for the living room.... but given how crappy the sales are I'm almost thinking of holding off the purchase just to spite the stores and their so-called sales.
I eventually will have to buy one so someone will be getting my $$ in the end.

i'm also interested in this TV. It's exclusive made for Bestbuy/Future shop. Reviews seems pretty good on Best buy US site. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/LG+-+60%...7200&cp=1&lp=2.But the deal is not so great (only $200 off US regular price )

To those who are looking into the upper-end Samsung 55-60" 3DTVs ($1500-$2k range), what have you settled on, if anything? Was really motivated to get the Samsung 60" 3DTV for $2k from Best Buy, but that was until I found out that it was Series 7, and not Series 8. Would it be more advantageous to just fore go the Boxing Day "sales" and wait for a good price later on next year? Curious to know what others are doing...

This is exactly my question, and I want a home theater system as well.
About two weeks ago, there was a deal in FS "55" 3D Smart TV ES6820 and a set of 5.1 channel home theater system" for $1699.99.
Have you think about the Sony Deal "55" HX850 with 5.1 channel home theater system" for $2299.99?

Yeah nobody seems to be commenting about the RCA, I would like to know what its quality is comparable to. It's 32'' for $198 at walmart and $199 at Canadian tire BUT Canadian tire has a promo for $15 back with a $60 purchase. Now im going to find out the Eco fee at both places. But anyone find a better deal for a 29 to 32'' simple, not necessarily name brand tv? Something just for the bedroom?? thx

The 7500 has motion/voice control whereas the 7100 doesnt. Thats the only thing I can tell thats different.
The sale for $1999 is "available on the 24th"
Bestbuy has the 7500 for 3K right now... seems like getting it for 2K is a pretty good deal. Not sure if its worth waiting or not.
