Last year I scooped a 46" 60 hz non LED backlight Sony LCD @ Sears Outlet Store for $246.... I doubt I will find a similar deal this year.

The 60" Samsung is probably the plasma PN60E530. Possibly the LC60LE640 for the Sharp... Originally Posted by doublec21

What kind of price is considered good for a 70" Sharp?
In comparison, Vizio 70" in the US (probably uses Sharp panel like the 60" ) is just under $2000 Reply With Quote

There are lots of versions of the Sharp 70", so it's hard to say. The one listed at the Brick for $2298.00 (Sharp 70" LC70LE640U) goes on sale for ~2000 in the US.
I wouldn't pay more than $1799 for it on Boxing Day. It's an basic model, and I expect the price for it to continue dropping quickly. Reply With Quote

Yeah the Sharp Quattron ones are the good panels in my opinion. Those are the only Sharp TVs I would buy now.
I also believe they come in the 3D models only now. At least that's what the Future Shop guy insisted on.
I don't mind the Sharp. But the LG uses Passive 3D technology, which is a lot more appealing to me. Reply With Quote
