Hello all,

I hope everyone managed to what they were looking for this boxing day. While boxing day is past some of the deals are still around so I'm just going to leave the spreadsheet running but I hoped it helped people. I have intentions of doing it next year (along with a Hard drive sheet and potentially monitor, we'll see how it goes). If anyone has any suggestions to it for the next time, send me a message and I'll consider the option. One change I was going to do which I did this year but pretty late was make a comparison chart (so you can see duplicates of the same product and how the price stacks up against all the places which have it for sale).

Anyway, I hope it helped and I hope everyone had a great Christmas, Boxing Day (lets face it, it's a holiday for RFDer's ;) ) and New Years.

picked up a 55L6200U
Toshiba 55" 3D smart TV LED 1080p for $977 - 10% for open box, + tax of course.
Good deal even without the 10% off.

They won't tell you. But, as I mentioned, ST is sold out for the 2012 ST50 model year. You are at the mercy of whatever your dealer has in stock. There are no more coming.
My cousin who is a buyer of an electronic store said the same thing, he indicated that GTs and higher models will likely go on sale later for Superbowl. They always save the highest end models for that and the end of season sale. They are blowing out the Us, UTs, and STs because of a factory rebate going on right now, no more are coming. STs being the most popular model are rare by now. Got a ST at a local London Drugs, sold out at BB FS, BB checked warehouse for me, zero left for BB out west. YMMV.

Just wondering about this model. Does it support full web browsing? I heard from different reviews, that it doesn't

best break in... just watch the tv...
All electronic parts have a life, if you waste those hours on breaking in then you are that much closer to end of life on those selected parts.
Having said that when that time reaches, you would have tossed this TV out and bought a new tv (years).

If you want to break in its better to use the cycled static images.... try this svcd.

Damn CC allowed that? it would never happen at FS/BB since they bundle it in the price or add it for $0.01 so you can't return it
