Just set up the LG47CM565 from Brick and It is so cool. The 3D is actually better then I expected it would be. Pretty good deal for $598.

Could you please let me know how this TV's backlighting is because I bought the 60LM7200 LG model, and the top left corner is kind of leaking. I tried losing the screws and it seemed to help a bit. And I also tried googling and it seems all LED & LCD edge lit experience this issue.

I won't have the Samsung TV until Jan 5th (ordered it in store but they had none in stock) so I won't be able to comment about it until then. You are correct that most LED/LCD TV's suffer from some bleeding but what i was getting on these 9600's was a bit extreme(poor quality picture but it gives you the idea...):

Anyone know if I should return the 40" Samsung LED UN40EH5000 purchased for $489.99 + taxes including 2 year warranty from Costco for the Samsung UN40EH5300FXZC (Smart TV 40") at Future Shop for $549.99 + taxes in store?
I know I paid $581.94 at Costco including taxes + $25 environment fee. If I buy this from FS, it will be $649.74 including taxes + $25 environment fee. That's a difference of $67.80. Basically that difference will get me a Smart TV, more USB and HDMI ports. Only thing I will sacrifice is the 2 year warranty and 90 day return policy from Costco. Well technically I could get the 1 year warranty doubled from RBC via the RBC VISA....
Hmmm... Thoughts?

Think you can get decent mounts for under 75. Seen a lot of boxing day sales for them

This partiuclar Costco mount actually allows the TV to move in and out from the wall, so cabling on it was much easier than with my true 'flush mounted' 60" in the basement. The mount in my basement is this one (http://www.thesource.ca/estore/produ...roduct=1601902) on for $50 from the source. Generally even with the flush mounts there is a way that you can 'tilt' the TV just enough to get behind to do some cabling - but of course if you have two people you can always take it down off the wall pretty easily to do what you need to do behind it.
Cheers.

Went to futureshop and noticed that a few TVs were lower today in store than boxing day. The associate told me that they just found out last night.
One example is the Samsumg 51E530 plasma, it's now 549.99 50$ Lower than boxing day.
