2013/2014 Quebec Refundable Tax Credit for Eco-Friendly Home Renovation (EcoRenov)

Details (LINK): Revenu Quebec

The tax credit is 20% of the portion of an individual's eligible expenses that exceeds $2,500, up to a maximum tax credit of $10,000.

I would like to take advantage of this EcoRenov program to upgrade/improve the house foundation insulation, waterproofing (french drainage??), new windows etc before its expiry 1st November 2014.

I had one general contractor with all qualities included generous no-hassle repayments for his works done. Too bad, he had retired with no successors. Thus, looking for reliable qualified/registered contractors is the main 'headache' in Montreal.

I appreciate recommendations/references.

Thanks.
LIVE LONG and suffer ...
