2013 Honda Accord EXL

I am planning to buy a 2013 Honda Accord EXL imminently. Their website mentions a cash price of $27,655. Can I bargain for lower than this price?

Read up on negotiations online but be prepared cause the dealers are ready for it as well. Dont forget to ask for incentives as well like free floor mats, free oil changes etc

Thanks a lot, but I thought the cash discount is on the MSRP. Does this mean that I can go down to $26,155?

Thanks anyways :) Much appreciated.

You mean $26,155 + freight/pdi + omic + a/c tax + plate license. Sounds reasonable to me. (MSRP without any add on is $29,155)

I'd say the best time to buy a car is either at the end of the year or at the end of the summer. As summer draws to a close, car companies are switching production from the current model year to next year's cars. Neither anufacturer nor the dealer wants a bunch of leftover vehicles sitting on the lot when the flood of new vehicles arrives, so this is a good time to take advantage of extra rebates and incentives designed to clear out the old cars and make room for the new cars.

Also, buy a new car at the end of the month because salespeople and dealers are trying to move as many vehicles off the lot as possible in an effort to qualify for bonuses from the auto manufacturer and to maximize their paychecks. As a result, car buyers can strike great deals as each month comes to a close.

Don't be afraid to walk out if you don't get a good offer and try different Honda dealerships.

Are you buying Coupe or Sedan? I must tell you I love the looks of 2013 Accord Coupe in white color. I find Accord Coupe a lot more fancy and better looking than FR-S.

May also drop the $1500 altogether or drop the rebate amount you never know when you play that game. Anyways just a heads up.
