I have a 2013 Soul with the 2.0 engine. Last year I took it to Florida and had no issues with it. The Soul has a higher seating position than other cars which makes it comfortable and relaxing for long drives. Bear in mind that the Soul is no sports car. Even with 160hp but with the aerodynamics of a barn door, a loaded Soul like any car, will have some issues above 80mph. The only negative is the fuel economy. I average 30 mpg to and from Florida. But I'm not complaining as Kia is reimbursing me for the difference.
