Just heard back from my dealer. New motor's been installed. They just need me to drop by with the second key so that they can program it. Should have the car back today!!

Will have to break in the new motor by going back to Kingston ;-)
That's great news, hope no troubles after. I think I know which dealer to choose if I ever need a visit. That's impressive to find a problem and fix it in a week on such a rare car as FFE.

That's good news. We haven't heard complaint from @UNDFTDss so his car must be running well :)
That's right! So far around 500km logged with no issues. I am very happy with my car right now, as long as it keeps on going!

That's awesome! Hoping you get many happy thousands of km.

Turns out my car should be all ready tomorrow not today, which is fine as that's the original estimate anyway. We'll see!

Is there a way to monitor the battery health? Like the percentage of the battery degradation?

Yes. In the summer I signed up for the free OBD2 adapter from fleetcarma.com
They were running pilot program for the EV monitoring for businesses.
Also, you can get BT OBD2 adapter online, and install monitoring app yourself.
Now for the bad news.
Except for the occasional L1 charging at work, I was mostly using L3 since April.
So, when last week I saw battery health dropping 1% at 10,244 km, I wasn't at all concerned.
It is acceptable, 1% for the each 10k
But today it dropped another %, to 98.
Hmm. Obviously, my use of DCFC quite often didn't help.
One of the theories I have in mind, I had similar experience with my DIY
Li-Ion battery on my ebike.
When cells are new, they need between 50 to 100 cycles to get balanced, after that, they were rock solid.
Always remained balanced after charging, within 0.001 volts.
Hopefully, it's the same with FFE battery.

Also, I had some fun painting the grill with matte black plasti dip. Check it out, what do you think?

I must be one of the last ones to get my 2017 FFE. Ordered beginning of April and still waiting to pick up my car. So I checked the VIN on Fordetis and shows build date 02 10 2017 or something like that. I guess that means built on October 02 2017. Just today I checked again and I do not see any details of the vehicle on Fordetis. Anyone know what is happening? I can still see the windows sticker from another website.

I ordered a 2018 the instant one was available with a December delivery estimate at the time so I would expect 2017s to be delivered well into November.

My build date was also early October and I can't see the details on ETIS anymore either. My car landed at the dealer this week so I suggest you contact the dealer or call Ford Customer service to find out where your car is.

I like it. I actually have been thinking of doing exactly that.

Make sure you use an extra coat or 2. I did a total of 5 or 6. Makes it easier to peel off when returning the car after lease.

not bad. What's that brown thing on your hood?
I think that is a reflection of the ping pong ball hanging above, haha.
