Hi all, I am offered Invoice + 2.5 % for 2017 EX from two dealers with about 2 weeks wait time, does that seem like a good deal for this model ? I can never really know the true cost,

Hey I'm shopping for a 2017 pilot too, most probably the EX-L RES ... Did you get your EX and can you give me more of a breakdown on your deal if possible?

I'm annoyed that captain's chairs are only available in the tip trims of these SUVs. Pretty much guaranteeing that I'll end up getting a minivan.

Did you end up buying a 2017 Pilot? I'm also looking. Here in Alberta, dealers appear to be only offering Invoice + 3 to 4 %. Other RFD'ers in Ontario have reported $2900 to $3200 off MRSP which I believe is close to Invoice + 2%. Perhaps the current Honda Canada finance/lease incentive of $2500 off is keeping the price up now?

I am getting dealer invoice +2% right now + $2500 from Honda. This seems like a pretty good deal especially since they have grey and silver available in the Touring model.

I am looking at EX- L Navi.with MSRP $45980. I am wondering how come Honda doesn't offer any warranty? I have to pay $1300 for 100k/5 years. Also financing interest rate seems high too.

Any idea on amount of room for negotiation?

Any thoughts about Kia Sorrento at $42k fully loaded?

It comes with the standard 3yr/60k km bumper to bumper warranty.

Hi fellow RFD members,

I am looking to get the 2017 Honda Pilot (Touring). Looking for some advice from other members who have dealt with Honda? I am planning to lease it, what are your thoughts?

Also, if anyone has a preferred contact please feel free to PM me.

Thanks.

Passed on a pilot because at 50plus grand, it's not really giving you much (crappy awd, medicore engine, not exactly a luxury vehicle). That said the competition is not that much better, except for the CX-9 which looked interesting but has too many addons. I would wait for the 2018s (or maybe the Subaru 7 seater before dropping that kind of money)

I went for a cheaper more luxurious CPO instead

The best I've seen was $58k OTR (which included winter tire+rim, running boards and extended warranty).

The Pilot uses the same AWD system as SH-AWD from Acura. It’s just named differently (I-VTM4). There are a few articles out about it. It’s one of the best AWD systems on the market. The 2018 Pilot won’t change. The MMC is scheduled for 2019, so you won’t see any big changes until then.

I can’t really give you any useful information on pricing since you’re in Toronto and dealers are way more willing to negotiate in your area than they are in mine.
