isn't the santa fe one of the top selling cuv's in the market for many years now? did something happen recently to the drive train or is it marketing bs.
my wife wants one but i'm not to crazy about getting a 7 seater.
It's not overly large for a 7 seater and one of he smaller vehicles in its class.

The Santa Fe XL sales aren't top selling. YTD is about 5,717, down 20% from last year. This compares to Ford Explorer at 14,950 up 18.67%, Kia Sorento at 13,325 , down 1.4% and Toyota Highlander at 13,066, up 21.12% from last year. The Santa Fe XL is a vehicle whose demand is weakening now - meaning future demand (ie, depreciation) will be even weaker.

There were huge rebates a few months ago, not sure now.

Interior is pretty meh, drives ok but handles pretty poor. Lots of body roll.

Lots of bang for your buck I guess. Kia sorento looks better inside and out.
