click the link "view rebate details"
oh ok thanks.
but reading seams will not work: "Valid with a copy of the dated, paid receipt and only for the purchase of four (4) GENERAL brand PASSENGER or LIGHT TRUCK tires in a single purchase transaction"
if CT will be so nice to sell me one tire a time so I can apply 4 times the 20 dollars promotion, that will exclude this promotion because require all 4 in a single purchase

First time winter tire buyer and c
ould use some input. Have a 2007 honda odyssey. Ottawa area. 50 km or so commute, mostly back roads / highway. Current tires are dated 2006. Still lots of tread (good for snow), but not great on ice. I'm on the fence about replacing them.

Costco has 2 options: From skimming this thread, sounds like Blizzak is a good option.

[edit]. Current winter tires are 225/70R16. Manufacturer recommended is: 235/65R16. Should the rims be compatible with both sizes?
I managed to get 2 of the altimax arctic tires at canadian tire today for $109+tax each. Reg $190. (that's all there is in stock in my area). With 2 x $20 promo cards back. Date code is 201622 so about a year and a half old. Not ideal, but not too bad.

I can drive a couple hours round trip to get another set at the $109 price (no promo tho).

Should these be good on my 2007 honda odyssey?

Starting Dec 4th, I can get Blizzak WS80 for $125 + tax + install per tire at costco (after rebate), which is the alternative I'm considering.
May talk to my mechanic about having 2 new tires on back and 2 old tires on front.

You should wait until you have all four tires before installing them because driving with only two is not a good idea and any "good" shop wouldn't install only two winter tires; its four or nothing.

You would probably be best to have all four tires the same make and model. Ideally of the same production vintage too. (I assume yours are stamped 2216.)

Both of your tire choices are directional, so when you rotate the tires front to rear (staying on the same side of vehicle) you may find different performance characteristics when you have the Generals up front vs. having the Blizzak WS80s up front.

Anyone get the Continental rebate yet? Just curious how long it took to process... I have been waiting a few weeks now myself.

So the wife just picked up a new 2018 Kia Sorento and we're looking to get some winter tires. I am leaning towards the Blizzak DM-V2s once the rebate kicks in from Costco. Anyone have any recommendations on rims/wheels? I don't want the cheap steel guys cause they're hideous, but I am looking for something that's cheap, won't rust, and looks decent. Any sites / deals people can recommend?
