Oh my God, you guys are so smart! I went to the store yesterday to buy tires as well and the guy booked an appointment next week for me so I can't pay and didn't even get 1 $20 card! I could have just taken the tires and got 4 $20! Oh well, at least the tires I bought were on sale though.

Oh wou... care about the people you are assisting!

Anyway I got 4 twenty dollars gift card that I will use tomorrow for installing and balance this new tires

So total including tax install and balance 468

Are the blizzak tires bought from Costco in late nov eligible for the 70 dollar visa card?

I don’t have separate rims for winter tires. Will Costco charge extra if they have to switch the tires (from my all-season tires to winter tires) from my existing rims?

No. All the rebates specifically exclude Costco and Online Retailers, and may sometimes exclude Canadian Tire also.

Purchased a set of Michelins (x-ice-3) from Costco over the weekend... the $70 rebate was applied instantly (was not a mail-in rebate)
Not sure if this was already mentioned, just a FYI...

Yes, that's one of the advantages of getting tires at Costco over places like Kal Tire, despite the longer wait times for Costco.

If you are looking at Costco, they just started a rebate program for Bridgestone and Pirelli. Check out their website!

What I am wondering now is, I bought a set last week. I wonder if they would price adjust.

I managed to get 2 of the altimax arctic tires at canadian tire today for $109+tax each. Reg $190. (that's all there is in stock in my area). With 2 x $20 promo cards back. Date code is 201622 so about a year and a half old. Not ideal, but not too bad.
Tha Altimax Arctic have been replaced by the Altimax Arctic 12. There's a fair bit of old stock of the Arctic kicking around - my Can Tire was clearing out their last 2 tires in my size for only $35 each not too long ago. I passed on that and instead bought the Arctic 12's elsewhere primarily because being a brand new tire this winter you know that all the Arctic 12's are less than one year old so you're guaranteed fresh rubber no matter where you buy it.

Did you try? I'm in the same boat. Haven't even picked the tires up yet, just paid last week.

First time buying winter tires (from greater Vancouver region, and last year was bad for our standards, barely made it with good tread all seasons).
195/65r15 (2014 base civic - steelies).
Is this a good deal on the Pirelli winter ice zero FR?

LINK
$376 Plus $15 per tire install.

Or Blizzak ws80 $370
Any suggestions? Any better deals out there?
Tight budget.

There's a web page (Price Match) for it. It took 30 second to make the claim.

The in-store customer service told me to wait until the tires arrive and request the price adjustment at that time. The rebate is until the end of the month, so we should be fine.
