Just want to find out if the base GTi comes with halogen or bi-xenon as standard?
Not sure the jump to Autobahn is worth it for the few extras you get over the base. As I do a lot of night driving, the bi-xenon and LED headlights make a huge difference
Base comes with halogen low beams.

How long did it take you to get it? I ordered mine at the end of November and should be betting it mid-march. Hoping to get it at the end of Feb.

No more 1.5% discount loyalty for current owners :-(

I hate vw sometimes -_- 0,5% is a real joke ... other companies offers 1%.

I ordered on Oct 31st, originally wanted Grey but they said that won't come until Late March, so I switched colours to Black

0% lease rate for a GTI?

Damn, I definitely am missing out. Stuck with this 5% Golf R lease rate highway robbery!

Congratulations! I'm supposed to pick up mine in 2 weeks. Are you getting winter tires? Which size/rims?

The stock all season Pirelli's that came with mine weren't actually too bad in light snow but I swapped over to winters shortly after, 225/45R17. 17" is the minimum diameter you can fit over the large brakes.

I bought 225/45/17 and left those with the dealer last night but the dealer is saying those don't fit, they've just tried them

I'm assuming you mean the wheel doesn't fit? The clearance is pretty tight, not all 17" wheels will fit from my understanding.

Yes, I bought the RTX Envy rims and they've said that "the rim is too bulky and doesn't clear the caliper"

Very possible, there is almost no clearance especially when they add the weights. Your best bet is to go with 17inch OEM VW rims as most of those will fit. I got a set of used ones off kijiji with 205/50/17 tires.

how about using spacers then ?
dealer said they won't use spacers. I'll need to go elsewhere to buy spacers and get them installed if I keep these rims

currently contemplating what to do, one thought is to switch the Brooklyn rims onto winter tires, sell the RTX rims and just buy some 18" summer rims and tires instead now
