22 Movie Marvel Studios Marathon incl. Avengers: Endgame - Scotiabank Theatre Toronto 04/23/19 $69.99

So apparently Scotiabank Theatre in Toronto is the only Canadian location to offer the full 22 film MCU marathon... from Iron Man (starting at 4/23 @ 5pm) all the way to Endgame (4/25 @ 5pm).

$69.99 all-in. Regular screen (not IMAX). Already 20% of the theatre is sold out for the event. Also includes event exclusive perks and concessions (extra booze for Thor: The Dark World?? Face With Tears Of Joy)

EDIT: Apparently AMC is charging USD 125 for the 12 US locations with the marathon. So Cineplex is technically charging "half price" for a one-off event.

4/5 EDIT: It's the Endgame now... half of the theatre is sold out.

22 movies over 3 days, that too weekdays? Are you crazy?

Take my upvote though.
EDIT: Netflix FTW!

Any suggestions for a cozy sleeping bag that will fit in the theatre chairs?

I have an inflatable queen mattress. I'm gonna bring that and put it in the aisle with pillows and duvet.
Might get my imaginary GF while I'm at it.

If anyone watches a movie marathon in a cinema (or even two movies or actually even one especially if it's a loud IMAX), I'd strongly suggest buying one of these, they're useful and you won't cause the damage that happens to your hearing if you're exposed to 80+ dB of volume for over 15 minutes:

I suggest EarPeace since they're comfortable (for me) and I've used them in theatres with the black filter to good effect but they've gone up in price to $30 and there might be some cheaper ones that do the job just as well.

I use etymotic brand myself, but recommend ear plugs as well. The theatres just crank out the volume way too loud now and these ear plugs don’t muddy anything, just lower the overall volume.

Sounds good, in theory.
I'm going to the convenient store to pick me up a pack of cigarettes...

I don't get the hype for this movie. The first one wasn't really that good, and the Marvel franchise is quickly getting stale
