For those interested, be aware that you need to use DVI to get the 144hz refresh rate.

Not my words, but this guy is somewhat of a monitor aficionado.

Of course for $239.99 it is one of the cheapest 144hz monitors (if not cheapest).

If I was buying a 144hz monitor I would grab this instead:

Yeah - I just got rid of my GPU and am cutting back from gaming until i finish my final year of uni...

that being said, ill jump back in with an ultrawide at that point i think.

1440p, looks solid, paid $275 cad bnib locally off kijiji.

before that was on the ASUS VG248QE and it was great for CounterStrike, but not much diff for the rest of games.
