24" Washer/Electric dryer combo - what/where to buy?

It seems Costco has Samsung online but the reviews are poor: https://www.costco.ca/Samsung-2-piece-S ... 83317.html

We ordered this set from Lowes but will be cancelling the order (I didn't notice the dryer was a condensing dryer and the reviews are not great on these either):

We only have space for a 24" wide washer and dryer, so this limits our options. Has anyone recently purchased a smaller size laundry set recently they have been happy with? Where did you purchase it (We are in Kingston).

I had the 24" GE front loading set for a while, and it works fine for smaller loads but it's not great for bed sheets and towels. Takes forever to dry (the small drum limits the tumbling and air circulation). Sheets get balled up quickly in the dryer and need repeated 'un-balling'.

A 24" condensing dryer would be a disaster. You'd be better off hanging everything to dry.

I finally bit the bullet, did some modifications to the stair railing and door trim in our old place and found a set of full size machines that just squeaked in. Top load GE washer (High Efficiency) and dryer.

Bought both sets from Home Depot. They messed up the delivery a couple of times so I got the delivery charge knocked off and $100 for my trouble on top. I bought them during a boxing week sale and paid under $1000 all in for the pair.

I recall paying around $1200 all-in for the 24" GE pair, but again that was on sale. I sold them for $800 2-3 years later as the retail price was closer to $2000 at the time I sold.

One problem we had with the GE front load 24" model was it would tumble endlessly if trying to balance a load. My wife put a knit sweater in on delicate wash, but it tumbled it for hours while trying to balance the load. It felted, turning into a tiny dense mass of wool. I think this is a problem with front-load machines in general.
