Why don't people just type out the whole words so we don't need a translation cheat sheet? Is it so hard to type out a few extra letters?
When people use lots of abbreviations in a post I'm reading, I tend to gloss over it or skip reading it altogether. I realize it's stereotyping, but I tend to think of such posters as potentially uneducated or lazy, and therefore maybe not worth reading. Not directing that at anyone here, just in general.

Wow, I've been wondering for the longest time what DH stood for since I've seen it in many of your posts, 3weddings.
It's actually a little anticlimatic since I had guessed it correctly... only it still doesn't make sense to me that the term requires a 2 letter abbrev. when the letter H alone would suffice... but that's just IMO.
