In downtown Toronto, the Longo's Maple Leaf Square is running this promotion, but the store does not have any red envelopes to give out.

If I buy 20 dollars Lotto Max I get 3 free lotto right? But I won't get the red pocket?
Or I have to spend another 20 dollars on top of the 20 dollars Lotto Max to get the red pockets too?

At the Petro-Canada location on Salem Road & HWY 2 they also don't have the red envelopes available either. I will be phoning the head office tomorrow to inquire. I did show the store worker the promo, they really didn't have anything else to add regarding it. I've always had problems with Petro-Canada regarding lottery promotions and was hoping this time it would be different..no such luck.

You should get both is the way I interpret the offer. The pack of pockets are fairly nice. I like the gold foil application on both sides of the the envelope.

I sort of dislike these promos as usually the staff are unaware and end up giving these away to just anyone but it's not a petro problem. The kiosk at loblaws had no idea about this promo either. At Petro I had to ask the guy who then had to look around for them :|

In my case, I just left it (I was a bit peeved and wished that I hadn't bothered to ask about it). The most important part is that I received the additional 3 Lottario tickets. I don't know what it is with gas stations and Lotto though...

Got my red pockets and extra Lottario at nearby 7-11 while getting free coffee.
I got a $20 Lotto gift card during Christmas anyway, so only costs me extra $1.

They also have another promotion on - if you buy $20 worth of Lotto gift card, you'll also get the pack of 6 red pockets for free.
Let's hope today is my last workday, lol!

which makes sense since the red pocket offer is good for any $20 lotto purchase. the trick is to find a retailer who knows what the promo is and is following it correctly.

My original cashier actually didn't know what to do. She called her senior over, and still I had to read the sign to him (luckily the ad was posted right at the checkout).

I like how u can usr credit card to buy lottery at this location. Not many accepts CC
Be careful doing this. My credit card (TD) counts lottery tickets as cash advance. I was hit with a 5$ fee for the transaction and 3day grace period before interest started.
