Keep blocking. Eventually they run out of digits. Usually after 3-4 fake numbers.
It's been more than a month and I've been blocking 30 or 40 numbers so far but still comes.

We have been getting automated calls in Chinese - we don’t even speak the language.

Btw, how do you say “stop **** calling me” in Chinese? Phonetics please.

They robo calls so they don't respond but if you manage to get them on the line you can say,

"Diu lay lo mo say pok guy yak see ah lei"

I get:

1) Chinese lady calling me (assuming it's a recording) -- 2-3 times a day
2) Westjet -- once a day
3) Some prize package - once a day
4) CRA (fake) 1 to 2 times a week
5) IRS (FAKE) 1 to 2 times a month
6) Duct cleaning services - 2 times a week
7) Realtor office - once every couple month

Lots of things I am leaving out. I have about 50 numbers blocked right now, some still comes through.

I get the annoying Mandarin one. Anyway, I also get another one where they call. I answer and they stay silent for a few seconds and then hang up, what's up w that?

"Don't you ever call me back". I think that's what it translate to. Not sure if I said it right lol.

Same.

Believe they are making sure these numbers are worth calling again. Those lists then get sold.

Honestly -- what kind of low life folks are after this

Set up an auto attendant with forwarding options. I've done so with VoIP.ms and it's been very good at blocking these.

Agreed, so annoying. Maybe I should invest in a foghorn whatever you call it, deafen those idiots.

Get an app that can block with a '*'. Say you got a call with 416-959-1234 and the next day from 416-959-2345 and you don't have people you knew with 416959 then block it with 416959* or even 41695*. I got calls with area code 219 (Michigan city) so I put 219* as I don't have any friends there.
Simple and effective. Few Android apps support and voip.ms support this feature.
