I got all excited when this thread got updated today - thinking that 4000/4010/5040 refurb became in stock. :-)

4030 and 6030 are 50% off right now. I haven't been following the thread long enough to know if that's a deal or not. I'm waiting to see if the 2100 ends up on there and for how much.

They might have been considered good deals a few years ago but I wouldn't pay that type of money for 1080p in 2019, regardless of how good the rest of the specs are.

Yup! Just noticed that too.
I'll take the 4000/4010 for $1000 though

The challenge is, Benq is releasing the HT3550 very soon, and from what I can see:

Benq:
- True 4K
- A lot sharper
- Better colors
- Smaller / Lighter

Epson:
- More controls (all motorized)
- Better contrast
- No rainbows

Decisions decisions...

For those who don't have a perfect room configuration, Epson's horizontal and vertical motorized lens shift is a must

Yeah.. saw that.. I have a fairly low ceiling so my screen is almost right up to it... look like the BenQ lens needs is even with top of screen so may be impossible for me to mount projector close enough to the ceiling to project the image.. can only move screen down 1-2 inches more than it already is.. would prefer not to move at all...

It's back! I'm tempted but scared by the no return policy. I wish Costco carried these or the Optima UHD65.
