It's also fascinating how 2 kids from different parents looked identical and both played the role of baby michelle on full house and now 20 some years later, they still look identical.

I went for the WD MyBook Essentials 3TB USB 3.0 from NCIX - $129.99 with free $10 gift card and express shipping, so basically the same price as FS....

I went to the Yonge Dundas Futureshop and bought the last one. Needed to get a second one for a friend though, so I went to BestBuy thinking they'd price match. Turns out they didn't have to. It showed up in their system at $119.99 as well.

NCIX, MemoryExpress, CC, have all been selling this for 88.99 since Friday.
CC and MemEx sold out and honored their prices.

NCIX on the other hand, is playing the "stock" game to milk customers. They had a couple handful for sale at 88.99 (so they can say they sold limited quanitiies), and when these 2-5 drives sold for 88.99, instead of going out of stock they are now selling them at 119.
RipOff. The regular price for these drives is $129.
CC and MemEx sold their stock, NCIX is just playing advertising to get customers like this... as you can see from the eager beaver below I quoted, they are probably suceeding.

What a rip off... NCIX 3TB internal was showed as 119.99 until November 28th. Now, it is showed as 129.99 until November 28th. What's their problems? They really play with their prices...

Isn't NCIX is sponsors for RFD? If they are then you are making Mods angry. ;)

Sorry about that... I'm just a bit frustrated about the price changes... I need 2 of thoses, but the price cannot stay the same each time I try to buy them... :(

Thanks guys, I picked up a 3TB internal that was mentioned here. However, its a Seagate, and has way crappier MTBF numbers than my 4TB Hitachis. Its too bad they don't go on sale much! They were just under $250 with tax each when I grabbed them from NCIX on sale... great drives, very fast transfers.

There are reasons why....

If you purchased a 3 TB WD My Book Essentials, did you have any issues with the software? Cause, most of the negative reviews I read online, were about the software that came with the drive. Also, how is the build quality for the enclosure?
