Hmmm... Interesting, I've been looking for a reason to dump Rogers (and I'm not a big fan of DSL).Originally posted by oyster_777@Oct 1 2003, 11:42 AM

Few things you should note:
1. You buy the cable/dsl modem
2. No phone support for ethernet modems?!? What's that all about see HERE
Don't know. They're the first to offer cable internet competition._______________

I gave them my contact info, so I'll see when they get back to me. Sounds great; we'll see how it goes.

I say be careful going through 3web. For dialup access they will cut off your service if you are amoung the top users for the month. And this is for dialup.
Pretty safe bet they'll do something similar or will limit the amount of bw you can use per month.

I wonder if a person could have some bargaining power with their current ISP. Perhaps getting them to match the price offered by 3web for interent service and Long Distance?

I think they probably want you to buy the TELUS modem kit to get the modem, like nucleus dsl service.

It looks like a great deal. But if you remember 3Web from their beginnings, they used to give out "Free Internet", but you had to have their Ad software running. Not sure, but reading the legalese looks like you may have to have it running here too... It would be a great deal if you didn't though...
