eDealinfo.com had a limited # of 40GB iPod for $300 US, too bad I missed it
Anyway, I think the $40 coupon is general. I gave mine away, and that person got the coupon from Apple too
I also have 2 $30 off $300 USD coupons from Apple e-mail.
$479 + tax = 550.85 for 40GB iPod

Great find!
I've also got a $40 off $399 or more coupon code for signing up at the Apple store a couple of weeks ago. Does anyone know if I can use both of these? I'm reluctant to plug them in and do a test check-out, because I think Apple will take the codes away if I don't complete the order.
I read in the Terms that only 1 "E-coupon" can be used per order. Can anyone confirm this?

Using the apple.ca student pricing, take the 20 gb, add a 5 pack of Apple DVD-Rs to make 402, then apply $40 coupon
assuming you pay $1 each dvd, it's like 357 for a 20 Gb

Amazing, thank you, I was about ready to shell out $389 for an iPOD too after Edu. discount. By adding a $14 pack of CD-Rs to bring the total to $403, then apply the coupon you can get the 20gig iPOD /w ClickWheel and a 10-pack of CDs for $363.00 +taxes.

Did you get the coupon immediately after signing up for the Apple eNews? Also, was this the Canadian site? I signed up for it months ago, but haven't got a coupon of such.

Thanks for the post! Seems like as much of a discount anyone can expect for an iPod for a long time... but scrolling through the ridiculously priced accessories makes me feel really bad that I'd even consider buying an iPod... the pricing on these things are just.... so absurd.

There really no accessories worth getting on the Apple website. The remote is flimsy, plastic, poorly designed and has no LCD (if they can put LCD remotes on Japanese MDs, I don't see why they can't here).
The cases are far overpriced compared to even futureshop.
But for the base system, 362 is great

Higher Education = Post-secondary...
But I think you can still use the coupon, but not student pricing...
