A discount this substantial immediately after release? That's a tad odd.

I'd prefer to buy at Memory Express too but I'm fairly sure they wont PM coupon's.

Nope, they won't.

It's also not unlikely that they'll conveniently delay processing the price match until tomorrow morning, when this price no longer applies.

Slightly faster than current CPU's. Not worth the upgrade if you are using Sandy or Ivy Bridge.
Nope, I'm actually kind of glad... given the socket change (grr). I'll keep rocking my i7-2600k @ 4.6 24/7 for a long time yet it seems.

Good deal for someone doing a new build! If you're on sandy or ivy, definitely don't bother.. but if you're on Core 2 Duo or old AMD then it's time to upgrade to this.

I'm still rocking my Phenom x4 965. No need to upgrade for a few more years (gaming-wise).

You could probably save around $50-$100 or so if you buy the older 3570k and a cheaper older socket mobo. Not sure if the supposed 5%-6% improvement is going to be noticeable.
