It is still OOS at Staples.ca... and perfectly normal for any good deals on great products. It would be fishy if it doesn't go OOS at some point.

If anyone is looking for one, my friend is selling his BNIB HP mini 311. I've listed it for him here on RFD:

List of useful links for the mini 311
I have complied a list of websites with instructions to hack your mini 311. They include information on full ION hack, CPU/GPU overclock, hackintosh, adding N-wifi and bluetooth cards, new ALPS trackpad driver, setting up to play 1080p mkv files...

I bought the computer which came today. I wanted to compare it to the inspiron 11z from dell and I think I will go with the dell which cost be approx $115 more (including tax) Any suggestions as to why the HP Mini 311-1000CA would be better? I am probably going to return it to Staples tomorrow unless someone wants it. Let me know what price is good. Its OOS in staples again.

I'm looking for one myself, what exaclty is a bilingual keyboard? What's so bad about it?
Anyone know any deals? Also, if I order from HP directly, will it still come with a bilingual keyboard?
EDIT: Nevermind, did a google search. Sucks that the layout is different. I assumed it would be just the markings and a CHOICE of using those buttons differently. This is a huge turnoff, and may stop me from getting one. I'm looking into how much it would cost in replacing the keyboard.

A new review comparing all the ION netbooks currently available in the market: http://blog.laptopmag.com/ion-netbook-shootout
Bottomline- the Asus 1201N is faster due to the dual-core Atom, but it has the shortest battery life. The hp mini 311 is still the best all round model. It is also the best value if you opt for the Windows XP version (and upgrade it to W7 yourself).
