50" TV Comparison Help
Hello RFD's,
So I recently moved out and I have a budget to spend on a couch and a TV. I figure I can spend 1000+HST on the TV. Looking around I see three TV's that are in my price range and seem? To be pretty good units.
1. LG 49LF5400 49" 1080p LED TV (49LF5400): $549. This is the cheap option the TV seems perfectly serviceable and has good reviews. http://www.gibbyselectronicsupermarket. ... 13471.html
2. Samsung UN50J5200 50-Inch Smart WiFi LED TV: $799. Very good reviews, smart TV, wifi enabled all that fun stuff. http://www.electronicsforless.ca/samsun ... -4618.html
3. Samsung UN50J6200 50-Inch 1080p 120Hz Smart WiFi LED TV: $999. Same TV as above but with a better processor and intelligent dimming technology? To make the whites and blacks more clear? Apparently makes a big difference in video quality.
I have a samsung s6 so the smart TV's with samsung app's does have an additional benefit but I don't want to purchase a TV just because I can browse on it over my phone.
Are these good options? Am I ignorant and theirs a way better set for the price point I didn't see? Does anyone know if the samsung 6 series tv is worth the price tag increase over the 5 series? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Also, if anyones selling a super cheap small couch I'll buy it from you. Not the point of this thread but Ill throw it out there.
Regards!
